IU’s brother was ashamed to admit he was related to her
Singer IU confessed that her fame caused her brother some embarrassment in the past.
On December 22nd, IU guested on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Happy Together 3 Christmas Special‘ alongside Jun Hyun Moo, Marcos, Boom, and Kim Na Young.
MC Yoo Jae Suk remarked, “It must have been uncomfortable for your brother knowing that his sister was a famous singer,” to which IU replied, “He was embarrassed of me at first.”
“I’m his older sister, but I come out on TV and try to act cute, so he was embarrassed and refused to tell people about me,” she continued.
Laughing, the MCs continued to ask, “When have you been grateful towards your brother?”, and IU replied, “These days, he is afraid of making mistakes because he fears his mistakes will in turn cause me to be criticized.”
Later in the show, IU showed off her ‘sexy dance‘, which became quite the hot topic online.
