IU’s “embarrassing hands” become an issue: “Please give me the award”
After becoming an issue for falling on stage, IU drew attention again with her “embarrassing hands.”
Recently, some pictures titled “IU being embarrassed when receiving an award” is uploaded on an online community gallery. In the picture, IU is receiving an award at 2011 Korea Advertisers Association Awards which was held in October.
IU won the Best Model Award by advertisers and went up the stage to receive it. But she held out her hands even before the presenter read off the award. She did not seem to know what to do for a moment and decided to hold her hands still until the presenter finishes reading it. IU found herself funny and embarrassed at the situation and bit her lips to hold back her laughter.
Netizens who saw the pictures comment: “IU looks so cute.” “The way she is holding her laughter is making it look even funnier.” “She must’ve been longing for the award.”
Previously, IU slipped and fell on stage on her way to receive an award at 2011 Melon Music Awards which was held on November 24. This incident made her become a hot issue for a while.
