How to receive Twitter notifications on mobile when IU tweets

1. Install the app ‘Boxcar’ on your iPhone (I’m not sure if there’s an android version).
2. Register for a Boxcar account, sign in, do whatever until you’re inside.
3. Select ‘Add a Service’, choose ‘Twitter Follow’:
4. Fill in the boxes. Put anything you like for ‘Name’ and put “lily199iu” for ‘People to Follow’. Put a sound if you want a sound, then select whether you want it to open in Twitter mobile or other Twitter clients. The rest can be ignored. Then press ‘Save’. Tadah!





5. We’ll find out if this works the next time IU tweets something lol.

IU rejected Suzy’s follow request on Twitter?

A recent conversation between IU and miss A‘s Suzy has become a hot topic.
On March 26th, IU, who recently opened her Twitter account, tweeted to Suzy with an assertive attitude, “I’m rejecting your follow request, Bae Suzy.”
Shortly after, Suzy replied with a playful threat saying, “I’m unfollowing you,” to which IU immediately apologized, “I’m sorry.”
Upon seeing the cute conversation between the two singers, fans commented, “The two must be very close with each other. How cute“, “The two are so cute!“, and “I’m so happy that IU started Twitter.”
Not only did IU chat with Suzy, but she also tweeted many other celebrities such as 2AM‘s Seulong, T-ara‘s Jiyeon, and Yoo Hee Yeol. As this is her first time in the world of Twitter, some of her tweets were questions such as, “How do I reply to somebody’s tweet?”

IU has finally crossed over to the world of Twitter by opening her very own official account!
On March 26th, Loen Entertainment announced, “IU has finally started Twitter! Please follow her!” To date, IU had only updated her Me2day and official fancafe, so fans are hoping that she’ll be using Twitter more frequently as a vehicle for her thoughts and pictures.
To celebrate the launch of her Twitter, she shared a bizarre photo of her hair tied up in horns, recently taken while at Tokyo Disneyland.


Her latest Twitter update says, “Starting Twitter. Start!”

IU and ZE:A’s Siwan star in part one of ‘Wave 3′ CF drama

On March 22nd, Samsung released their latest CF drama featuring IU and ZE:A‘s Siwan for their latest smartphone, the ‘Wave 3‘.
The CF is different from the other 30 second clips on the market as it was produced with ideas directly sent in by consumers. Fans were able to participate in the plot writing process, which was acted out by IU and Siwan. The three-part drama titled ’20, the start of the Wave’, will feature other popular idols aside from the first two.
With a college campus as their stage, IU and Siwan introduce the various apps and tools of the ‘Wave 3′.
A new part will be released every Thursday through th eofficial homepage.

IU sports a quirky hairstyle while waiting in line at Disneyland

Singer IU shared a new photo, in which she sported an eccentric new hairstyle.
On March 22nd, IU posted the photo above via her official fan cafe and wrote, “Where shall we go?”
She later wrote again, “Disneyland. Waiting in line for three hours now. Let’s see just how exciting this ride really is…”
Her fun hairstyle further brought out her adorable charm that her fans are already so drawn to.
Netizens who saw her post wrote, “That’s a fresh new look,” along with “I want to go to Disneyland too,” and “What are waiting three hours for? Have fun.”
In related news, IU recently released her first Japanese album ‘Good Day’ in Japan, which immediately rose to #8 on the Oricon Daily Singles Chart.

Recent photos of IU at the airport departing for Japan have been gaining interest.
Recently, three photos titled, “Captures of IU at the airport leaving for Japan“, surfaced on an online community board.
The pictures featured IU’s fresh face and she didn’t forget to smile to her fans despite her busy schedule. IU smiled for her fans and even made the v-sign as they took pictures.
The netizens were impressed with IU’s fan service and commented, “It seems like IU never loses her smile even though she’s tired“, “Hope she doesn’t over do it and takes it easy~“, and “That smile calls for optimism…”
Meanwhile, IU’s popularity was evidenced when her single ranked 8th on Oricon Chart on the day of its release.

IU ranks 6th on Oricon with her debut single

Singer IU is kicking off a successful Japanese debut as she has ranked #6 on the Oricon with the release of her debut album!
On March 21st, IU released her Japanese debut single album, ‘Good Day.’  After one day of release, the album ranked sixth on the singles chart, and it seems it will continue to climb the chart.
People in Japan were already interested in IU’s debut even before she had made her way over to Japan as she had already established herself as the number one solo artist in Korea.
To prepare for her album release, she held a showcase in January and with the support of her fans, she showed off her 3 octave singing ability which received high praise.
With the release of this album, she has officially begun her activities in Japan and with her 3 octave powerful singing ability, and cute and innocent charm, she is sure to be a huge hit!
